Welcome!

With this page, I wish to share a considerable sample of my photographic journey, which started back in 1993 when I began photographing all kinds of aircraft (my big love, which led me to my favourite hobby, planespotting). Since then and over the years I have also been intrigued by nightscapes, landscapes, and most recently, thunderstorms and skyscapes (which led me to another favourite pastime: storm chasing and meteorology). I integrated all the perks of digital photography to my hobby in 2005 with a Nikon D50 and after a long line of Nikon DSLRs, I ended up with my current workhorse, the wonderful Nikon D850. The lenses I currently use are: Nikkor 35mm f/1.8, Nikkor 24-120mm f/4G and my favourite "longreach", the Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR.

Αll photos have been categorized for easier navigation. The aforementioned categories can be found to the right of this page and are updated regularly with new material and new categories will be added when there is enough material. The most recently updated category will appear as the "featured post" on the home page. More recently, I decided to add a dedicated category for rare and historic movements at my home airport and my workplace, Athens International (ATH/LGAV), and since there is nothing on the internet that keeps track of this, I just had to do it. Be sure to check it out!

I need to thank, first of all, my father, who got me into the art of photography from very early on. A big thank you goes also to my wife for supporting me all these years, and to my friends with the same "virus" for all the moments we have spent and the ones we 'll spend on rooftops, fences, isolated places, hills, mountains, fields etc. learning from each other.

  Enjoy the ride!
